Opening your first

Practical help for first-time UK founders — based on what I learned actually opening one.
Start hereTHE PERSON BEHIND THE PROJECTS
At nearly 40 I decided opening a coffee shop with no previous café experience would be a sensible thing to do.
It wasn’t particularly sensible, but it did become KULT.
Since then I’ve started sharing more of what actually goes into building things — money, decisions, mistakes, experiments and all the bits that normally get tidied up before anyone talks about them.
I’m interested in business, people, media, technology, brands and trying ideas to see whether they’re actually any good.
Some will work. Some won’t.
Either way, I’ll probably talk about it.
